Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Due to the uncertainty of the Coronavirus in the UK at this moment in time, we are only taking provisional bookings for private groups for 2021. For peace of mind, all our trips for 2021 will be bookable with a fully refundable deposit!

Please find below our current availability for summer 2021 regarding our 5-day trips. These trips will be priced at £495 per person and be inclusive of transport, accommodation, food and activities. We will be initially offering 8 trips of this nature throughout the year on a fortnightly basis. Alternative weeks will be kept available for shorter trips.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people can sleep on the bus?
The bus has 8 private beds fully equipped with electricity and lighting. Depending on the trip you are coming on there will always be at least 6 beds available to guests.
Does the bus have a toilet and shower?
Yes and no...
Who drives the bus?
If you are coming along on one of our 5-day adventure trips around the highlands the bus will be driven by our founder Angus. Throughout the week Angus and potentially one other member of The Bonnie Camper crew will host your trip and supply you with everything from food to mountain bikes.
Should I get travel insurance?
As the trip involves a large amount of outdoor activities we do recommend that you purchase travel insurance should the worst happen.
What if I don't want to take part in all the activities?
This is no problem at all! The great thing about the areas that we visit in the bus is that there is plenty to do. So, if you are not quite feeling up for an afternoon of kayaking you are more than welcome to venture into the local towns or take a hike up one of the surrounding mountains.
Is there a veggie / vegan food option?
Yes, of course! As part of the booking process we kindly ask you to fill in your dietary requirements so that we can accommodate to your preferences.
Where are the pick-up and drop-off points?
Our designated pick-up and drop-off points are in Edinburgh. We are felxible in terms of where in Edinburgh and have set points for guests arriving from the airport or the city centre.
Is this bus available for families?
Yes of course! However, due to our seating and seatbelt set-up we are unable to carry passengers younger than 12. Therefore we are are only able to take families with children aged 12 and older.
